Company is a growing privately held real estate development and portfolio management firm. The firm includes an established and growing real estate investment platform focused on the acquisition, development and on-going asset management of a multi-family affordable housing portfolio made up of complex limited partnership interests. This company is a professional firm headquartered in Seattle and a regional office in NYC. 

POSITION SUMMARY
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Asset Management department in overseeing companys’ continually growing affordable housing real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Director – Asset Management, this position will create, maintain, and streamline internal processes and data tracking/assimilation within the department, with third-party partners, and across the organization. The position will work with Microsoft Excel/Word, Yardi Voyager, and other future platforms as the go-to person for Asset Management data projects and regular reporting/tracking requirements and needs for over 100 partnerships spanning more than 25 states.

You will collaborate with third-parties from an array of backgrounds including property management, technology providers, law firms, lending institutions, housing authorities, and the insurance industry. You will use your writing ability and verbal charisma to effectively communicate across a vast assemblage of personalities, keeping companys’ priorities front and center while building and maintaining relationships to foster companys’ growth. You will create and maintain systems of organization, gathering data from a multitude of sources, so that what is seen is what matters most: the details and the big picture.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborate with and support Directors and Asset Managers on a variety of day-to-day projects for entire company-owned portfolio.
· Review, update, and maintain the integrity of property and financial data and documents used by the Asset Management department and ensure their consistency with financial systems.
· Liaison with Yardi financial system reps. to create, maintain, and trouble shoot reports, data inputs and outputs, and other related tasks as go-to person for Asset Management.
· Convert financial data (budgets, underwriting models, etc.) into proprietary Yardi format for upload into system while verifying accuracy of related reporting.
· Coordinate, track, report, and bring to conclusion with property management, attorneys, insurance adjusters, insurance brokers, and internal departments general liability and property damage insurance claims.
· Assist Asset Managers in maintaining project compliance through review and interpretation of partnership agreements, third-party contracts, and financing documents.
· Coordinate, track, and report on laundry leases, cable marketing leases, and other partnership specific leases and agreements.
· Coordinate and secure regular funding for solar reimbursements for partnerships and other entities.
· Participate in the building and management of strong relationships with joint venture and investment partners, lenders, housing authorities, property management, and other internal and external stake holders.
· Acquisition rehabilitation initial tenant certification coordination as needed by Asset Managers.
· Grow in understanding of HUD Section 8, Section 42 LIHTC, affordable housing structures, partnership financing, low-income compliance, and other matters related to the acquisition, development, and long-term management of company as an affordable housing developer/owner.
· Support and back-up administrative related tasks for Asset Management Coordinator.
· Other duties and projects as assigned.· Some travel may be required (site visits, conferences, etc.).

Job Requirement

POSITION SPECIFIC EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

REQUIRED
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, preferably in Finance or related field.
· Strong computer skills, thorough knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
· Ability to demonstrate strong ethics in interpersonal relations and work as an effective, collaborative team member.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

PREFERRED
· Knowledge of real estate terminology and concepts and good financial analysis skills.
· Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and/or other accounting platforms.
· Must be highly motivated, and able to work independently, solve problems and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
· Affordable housing, real estate, finance and/or property management experience.
· Working knowledge of Section 42 and HUD regulations/programs and regulatory agreements.
· Position will require remote work and office visits to Seattle.
· May require travel to conduct physical inspections of sites or attend conferences.
